Use Torque Management as a traction aid?

Is it possible to use the Torque Management feature to limit power output by gear? Currently I have all tables maxed, but now I've reached the point where the car is over powered in first through most of third gear on 15s. Its a supercharged application, so I don't have the ability to control boost.

    Thanks,

If I cut the max torque value in half for first gear only, does it translate to a direct 50% of total timing pulled for that gear?

    Anyone tried this?

I'm using a WOT box which greatly helps with shifting time, but it doesnt work unless you are WOT. Trying to modulate the throttle is not consistent and repeatable.
