    should i start with 02 fbody or 04 gto tune, swap to speed density os?

    Would like some opinions on if i should start with 02 fbody or 04 gto tune, and/or swap to speed density os for my 1980 z28 start up tune and what to change?

    Has 2006 L33 5.3l punched out to 5.7
    243 truck heads
    LS6 Intake/injectors
    TBC
    1 7/8 long tubes
    flat top pistons
    summit 8707 Stage 2 Pro LS Cam. 226/238 113+3, .600/.600 Lift

    Two different PCM's. 04 GTO uses a P59. 02 Camaro uses a P01. Use one or the other depending on which hardware you have.

    will most likely go with the fbody 411 since i am also converting the 4th gen abs to work on my 2nd gen.

    If you had the choice a 02 F body would be better IMHO

    should i keep the MAF or switch to speed density os? i have been reading mixed opinions

    Keeping both isn't a problem. You won't make more power than the MAF can handle.

    Many just choose speed density for cleaner intake systems and because they prefer to tune it in speed density.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    That cam is on the edge of what I would do with a MAF. SD will give a better result with anything more than a mild cam. Reversion will effect MAF readings at low load/RPM
