    2011 lml 2500 W/T - Cruise control add on

    Hey All,

Need some guidance/help if you don't mind.

My lml work truck did not come with Cruise Control, and towing long distances is tiring on the leg, man I would love cruise control.

Instead of going through GM for the software calibration, is there any way through EFIlive to modify in the cruise control functionality? Can my CAL file be modified at all? Or can a Cal file be pulled?
I honestly do not know of a process I could follow to get this going.

2011 Crewcab longbed - floor shift 4x4 - manual HVAC - manual windows-power door locks.

    Last 8 of my VIN - BF226574

    Is it possible?
Any help much appreciated! I'll answer any questions possible.
    Thank you!

    Some further research

So I compared segments between my VIN- and the Donor truck vin. All segment config #'s are the same except for two. interesting....

Looks like the similarly equipped (donor) truck with cruise has a different segment # in the ECU speedometer section. The number is 12646361- I'm assuming that would be segment swapped into my stock file.

I also see through all the calibration info- the BCM has a different calibration code in PowerTrain Control (from the donor) of 20963577.

I'm going to assume since the trucks are so similar except for cruise- that these two cals are what it takes for cruise. So can the BCM portion get a segment swap done also?

When I refer to the donor- I mean the truck that is exactly like mine- but came with cruise control.

Let me know if this helps or makes sense

    p.s.
My trucks# segment for ECU speedometer is 12646362
My trucks # segement for BCM is 20963579

I can provide VIN's for mine and donor if anyone request.

Pretty sure RidgeRunner pointed me in the correct direction. BT Diesel does the BCM programming needed for what i'm looking for.
