    2021 tuning

I recently sold my dodge cummins and made the switch to a 2021 ecoboost. Was wondering if anyone has any insights on when the 2021 will be able to be tuned?

the 17s were the last major refresh and they came out with the beta tuning in the beginning of march following the release. So I'd guess sometime in March.

Do you know which hardware we have to select to read it?

MPVI2 or MPVI3 should be able to read it.

Download the Beta VCMEditor, and you may be able to read and write the 2021 now. I have been tuning 2020's with the MPVI2 interface without issues. Usually the Beta software supports A LOT more vehicles than what is shown on the available vehicles page of the website. And sometimes even when it is not supported you could do a read, as well as send in some additional info to HPTuners and they can use that info to build their definition files to make that model year tunable sooner than later.
