6t40 2 gen solenoids

Hello. For many years I have been repairing automatic transmission 6t40. 1st generation known for its unreliable solenoids. And the 2nd generation has very reliable solenoids.

Sometimes I convert the automatic transmission from 1st generation to 2. Changing the TCM module with solenoids, valve body, separator plate. Also a drum inside with 3 teflon rings and some wavy discs.

For a very long time I have been interested in the question of how to make a 1st generation automatic transmission work with 2nd generation solenoids. Change PWM signal.

I think this service will be in great demand.

To clarify, you're saying if you swap the entire Gen2 valve body with the solenoids, separator plate, drum, and wavy discs into a Gen1 transmission, it works. But if you swap just the solenoids themselves it does not work?

Gen1 solenoids have different PWM frequency than gen2 as far as I know
It require somehow to change base frequency for all 6 solenoids (7th is on/off)
