Thread: Gpec2?

    Gpec2?

What is the maximum boost a GPEC2 ECU can read. I've read it will only recognise up to 200 kpa using a neon SRT4 map sensor. I'm curious to know if this is true or not?

Im pretty sure with the correct MAP sensor it can go over that. I know GPEC2A will go to at least 300kpa

in my experience, it hits a limit at 200kpa, u need to setup on diagnostics to a max of 198kpa or something like that, it will not hit the limiter anymore but it will not read more than 200kpa, it was on a 2013 6.4l pcm, on a jk hellcat swap... in my cause i was at 210-220 kpa

Thanks for the response, if I change the settings in the diagnostics section to your recommended settings, can I log greater then 200kpa in HPTuners? I have both a 2bar & 3bar map. Just trying to ensure I can tune properly in the higher boost range. I have a 13 GPEC2 PCM, running a transplanted 6.4 with twin 72mm turbos.
