    Data logging a Cummins 5.9CR

Are these really the only parameters available for data logging a Cummins 5.9CR? Seems pretty useless (for logging).

The only parameters HPT appears to be able to record on my truck are what is bold in my original post. I cannot see timing or injection duration, etc.

Should probably tell him that the water in fuel sensor and battery temperature are completely useless things for him to monitor for any form of engine tuning whatsoever and that you only have them on there because you have different sensors than their original intent on them.

The junk doesn?t always work for everyone and seems to be completely different for each individual. It won?t always show the same channels as another person.

Click on that gear with the green plus sign, it?ll open up the channel select window, up top there is a button with a green check mark if I remember correctly, clicking it will show all so-called available channels for your truck. Add them all, connect the interface and establish a connection with your truck, all that stay black is what the software engineers have working for your calibration, anything that?s grey with the broken link symbol, the software engineers do not have working for your calibration and you need to talk to support to get them to get it working. Also, beta version tends to have more available than the stable version release.

can we know what the WIF and batt temp are actually logging and where to get a sensor to log drive pressure?

If I remember correctly he is using the battery temp sensor for drive pressure.

Not that I would recommend doing such things as those would still be tied in through programming for their original intended purposes.
