    5.3 to 6.2 tune question

Long story short I have an 11 suburban with a gen 5 6.2l swapped in. pcm failed. Got a used one but for a 5.3. Can I write my 6.2 tune file over into the new pcm? I see on hp website I can get a stock 6.2 file. Am I able to load that onto the pcm? I have an mdi2 but can't seem to get it to program with the correct file so I'm resorting back to hp.

What is the exact engine you put in there?

A GEN 5 6.2 is what we consider the direct injected engine and different from the port fuel injected engines like the L94 for example.

The suburban never came with the 6.2 in 2011 so you'd still need to flash the PCM and TCM with your MDI back to stock. Then change the engine side of the calibration to 6.2 engine data.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
