    Twin Turbo Coyote Tuning

Most of you already know I do remote tuning on the side, and have for several years (after selling my dyno, etc).

I'm in the process of tuning a 2013 Mustang GT with a Hellion Twin Turbo setup using our software. Nothing like using your own product to dial in a car. In the process, I have found a few parameters I needed to add in, found a couple of errors including incorrect min/max values. Today I added about 50 new parameters to this cars OSID, and I will be putting these parameters in all of the other Copperhead definitions starting tomorrow.

    DBW troubles

    Hello Eric,

I have also been working on a 13 Hellion kit. I initially used SCT to tune this car, but switched to HP to try and solve some issues I've been having. I have been unable to get the throttle to respond directly with the pedal. Here is a screen shot of the throttle delay after pedal is WOT.

I have tried increasing the DD table and I think all the tq mgmt limits etc are off. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the tune as well. Holmgren twin turbo sct some changes.hpt
Thanks for your time and great work with the software!

Bring the stop number down to around 500.

Also, disable Tip In Torque Management.

Tip in TQ was already disabled - that was my first change in HP and it helped a fair amount. I just lowered the stop number to 500 and it is almost there! The desired throttle follows the pedal, but the actual is still a little behind. Is this in the Feed Forward table now? Also the throttle is lagging on the close....

Me either. I'll have the charge pipe remade and powdercoated black at some point. I just want to get everything up and running and dialed in before worrying about the minor details.

Kit comes with springs that make 5.5-6psi and that's what I'll be running.

This car was running a T56 Magnum. Car has since been totaled and the owner now has a 2014 with the 6R80

Hi , TY Eric , T56 Magnum (TREMEC® T56 6-speed transmission) manual box , OK the 6R80 is interesting mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .... a six-speed automatic transmission extra 200 newton metres torque a stronger box than what we have here in Australia since it is based/modelled on the ZF 6HP26 transmission and is built under license by the FoMoCo. Might be a good upgrade for us aussie here as i see their very cheap to buy from wrecking yards in the USA, " dime a dozen " Just curious about the control system ???

    • 6 - 6 Speed.
    • R - Rear wheel drive.
    80 - Ford Motor Co. strength designation - max input torque or 800 N-M (590 lb-ft)

ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission torque rating - maximum input torque of 600 newton metres (443 lbf·ft)
