I have read the stock file of the 300c c Hemi. Does this need PCM modification before tuning?

asterisk for 05-16* Chrysler 300/300C (all trims including SRT8)

I am no expert but I don't believe the PCM needs to be modified until the later years. I have a 2009 300C and researched a bit before buying my MPVI2.
