Help With VVE Table (2017 Chevy Cruze 1.4L Tuning)
I'm trying to help a buddy figure out some issues with his 1.4L out of a 2017 Cruze. But I have a general question about what HP Tuners is showing me for a VVE table. I've included a screen capture of the VVE table from a stock 1.4L turbo engine that I downloaded from the tunes archive. And my buddy's VVE tables look the same, fyiAttachment 107600. For whatever reason, the values are nearly flat beyond a pressure ratio of 1.4 or so. According to my calcs, that's only about 5 or so PSI of boost. This engine is supposed to be boosted between 14-17 psi. So why does the table look so weird after 1.4 pressure ratio? Is HP Tuners interpreting the values wrong and it just looks weird???? Anyone else seen this? And I have also attached the tune file I downloaded from the archives for reference...in case someone else's looks different.
Thanks in advance.
