6.0L SOTF (Shift on the Fly) Stock file W/OS Mod (File inside)

Here's a 6.0 file clean stock file that was uploaded to the forum awhile back.

I applied the Shift on the fly OS modification

This is first true SOTF method that has made it to market for the 6.0L

With individual slots (up to 5) timing, pedal to fuel, max torque to fuel, EBP, ICP, torque model etc

Use as a reference only for stock values.

To apply SOTF OS Mod your PCM your file/pcm must be on the latest ford flash.

Click OS tab and follow on screen instructions

Attached file can be opened on the latest beta

TCM side of things still isnt SOTF capable but you can manipulate the torque model per slot to get your desired differences per slot and or tune.

What combination of buttons is used for the slots? Does the cruise control still work?

Is there a way to look up latest cal by vin for Ford like with GM? Or is there a OS compatibility list for the SOTF tuning that you know of? There is hardly anything on the forums about this and I have a 6.0 here I want to test this on. 2003 model year with the 448k pcm. I just "updated" pcm with FJDS and it claims it installed latest server version but the OS mod isn't available in the stock tune read. I did download the attached file from this thread and browsed around it. Now just need one I can actually play with to flash on a truck. Thanks in advance guys!

When I try to apply the SOTF modification I followed the on screen prompt.

When I go to write entire it says I don?t have a license for it. When I have already flashed the truck numerous times without the os mod. Any ideas?

Things I have noticed.. it is a non-inferred strategy.. so make sure your MAF is scaled correctly. Me having a no limit 5? intake I had to scale my MAF.

Your torque tables needs to be pretty good/accurate. Transmission doesn?t like it when you switch with those torque tables way off or if your trying to run only ?OEM?

My 03 doesn?t tell me which tune I?m in so I?m unsure on which lights it?s supposed to use for tune verification. I just keep it in my head or if I?m at idle I have my ICP set at different pressures to tell me.

I will update as I learn!

I can yes. I?ll start one tomorrow. I recently stopped using it because I thought it was causing an issue but it was ended up being my HPOP was weak.

I have been doing extensive development on this OS patch since I helped HP test / develope it. Early in testing it was discovered that switching tunes can cause the adaptives to reset when a tune is switched. Clever work with the TCM side can help a lot to reduce the effects of an adaptive reset.

Getting the torque numbers on the ECM close to changes in power really make it happy so that the pedal position and FMD lines up with the torque number to keep line pressure where it needs to be.

I keep meaning to do a full write up but keep running out of time.

I always wondered how to OS patch was applied. what software was used?
