Trouble With Limp Mode Using N2MB WOT Box 2019 On 10R80 Mustang

Anybody here had any success using a N2MB WOT box on a 18 or newer 10R80 Mustang for a 2 step?

I have one wired up on my 2019. The 2 step function works. However if you stay on the 2 step for more than a couple of seconds, the car goes into a limp mode and cuts injectors.

Logs show the fuel source going into injector cut when this happens.

The car did throw P0351-P0358 codes, but I disabled those. I also disabled the misfire test in the calibration as well. Still no dice.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Would be nice if HP Tuners could make a custom operating system that allowed a 2 step on a 10R80 car with the transbrake active, but that is wishful thinking I am sure.

Lower this to a value under which your two step is set to. If the parameter isn't available, contact support and request it. ECM 2558.

What year model car calibration is that screen shot of? The parameter obviously is not defined on my 2019 read.

N2MB box causes issues with this test unless that parameter is changed.

Well im talking out of my butt, i didnt tune the car i installed it on. But as long as you install it correctly, by flipping all of the coil to harness connectors backways, and unpinning the number 4 or 3 cylinder and reversing the wire( i dont rmember which one it is, its been over a year since i hooked it up for a friend), then swap the main harness that plugs into the box. This is all assuming msd hasnt developed a new box that works on 18+ cars. then you shouldnt need tune changes. Thats at least what PBD told him.

Just melted the motor in 300' with the msd.

Grey to purple per what everyone says to do. Flipped #3 wires to maintain grey to purple. Car fired up and ran perfect. No issues. Went to track and it melted in 300'.

Of course after it happens I have 3 people call me and tell me theirs did the same thing.

yep. #3 cyl is gone. Replacement motor will be here this week.

Of course after I post on social media about it, i get a bunch of people saying the same thing happened to them.

If you have a gen3 motor, do not use msd 2 step

No offence but it make no difference wheater it's 1 gen or 2 gen or 3 gen.

Your piston shattered from to much timing/lean combination, not from 2 step...stop selling this BS...

Sorry to say but you're 100% wrong. do some research on the topic, as I have, before making false statements.

Nope, you are wrong. I just did a 2018>2016 ecu swap for example to know for sure that you are selling BS cuz you cant take any responsibility for few engines you have granaded.
