I'm looking into the software but wanted a definitive answer. I'm considering trying my own tuning so I wanted to verify if I'm looking right around $350 for the software and one license. I see the software appears to be $299 without a license so I would need 1 license making the purchase $350. Is that correct or do I need something else to get started? Thanks!
You need to see how many credits your vehicle takes to license. At a minimum you need 2 credits, so that is $100. Your total would be $400 just to get you into HP Tuners but some vehicles require more than 2 credits.
Check the supported vehicles list and it will show what a single vehicle license costs.
