    Base Octane mapping

I am moving from NC to MT. In NC there is 93 fuel which I have been running. MT only has 91 as their premium. Elevation in NC is +238 ASL (Above Sea Level) and elevation in MT is +3360 ASL. In my Caprice I have the E38 computer and the attached images show the Base Hi octane and Base Lo Octane. Will I have to look into getting an updated tune before even driving in MT after trailering the car there? Thank you for your time!

I live in Colorado at +8300' ASL so I understand your angst! A naturally aspirated engine will have lower cylinder pressures at altitude so IMHO, the reduced octane of 91 vs 93 gasoline shouldn't make a difference for you. You can log your knock retard once you're driving in MT and if you think it's excessive, only then try reducing your high octane timing table a degree or two.
