Are 2004 LB7 and 2004.5 LLY both considered 2004 models. If I buy a year/model unlock on my first 2004.5, will I have to use any more credits if I tune a 2004 LB7?

yes, you should be able to tune both with the year/model license...for instance if I were to buy the year/model license for Chevy Suburban / GMC Yukon & Denali 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, 8.1 I could tune any of those combo's...in your case there are two different engine combo's but its from the same year so you'll be able to tune them both
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
