im having troube with the shift points, im setting 6300 rpm, and speed to 36 1>2, but shifts till 6700 cutoff, i cant figure it out what is causing this, can anyone check my tune file and see whats wrong with,
lq4, 823 heads, btr stage 4 truck, and 2500 stall,
trans has fresh rebuilt
any help is welcome, regards
I can't view your log from here, but I would guess that you need to command your shift sooner. The 60e doesn't have anything in it's programming for shift anticipation like the newer transmissions so even though you are commanding the shift to start at 6300 rpm, if you're accelerating quickly you can hit the limiter before your shift is completed. Try setting it at something pretty low, like 5800, and see how much RPM climbs between the shift being commanded and the shift completion.
