2013 Mustang 5.0 Locked tune and no start condition with stock file loaded

I have a 2013 Mustang 5.0 with VMP Gen2 blower. It has a SCT X4 and the tune is locked by VMP. It will start and run with the VMP tune, but when I load the stock file back in I get a no start condition. I have contacted VMP and they did not offer any help, so what are my options, besides spending $300 in credits to change the strategy? The stock file strategy is FSFD1A5.

If it has a VMP Gen2 it won't have stock injectors. My Roush Phase 2 is really close to VMP and it came with 47lb injectors. I'm assuming you put the injector data for what you have in?

*EDIT* I just noticed you are advanced tuner, so that was probably a silly question. VMP sometimes rewires your IAT2 to your IAT1, sometimes there is a harness and you use the MCT switch and have both, and sometimes there is no IAT2 at all. It might not start if you get -40degree readings on the IAT or no readings.

Yes, that is when I get a no start condition. Starter does not turn the engine. I've seen this happen when a corrupted strategy is used and I assume that is what's going on here. The locked tune strategy is VMPSCCALLH32. The only info I got from VMP was that they don't remove PATS.

Does the vehicle run when the vmp tune is loaded. starting may not be a flashing issue but could be something mechanical.

No worries. Haven't seen anyone, with all the answers, yet. I will check the IAT readings.

Could have a corrupted stock file from the sct. Id return to stock with sct so its unmarried, have reflashed with stock file from ford. Than you have a good file to start from.

Isn't there a way to restore the stock file on the SCT X4? As in download an new file and load it on the SCT X4?

I don't understand. How does writing a tune make the xcal device junk ?
