Tuning in VVE vs VE 2-bar (KPA vs RPM)?

    Hello

My Car is Tuned in VVE , has a slight surging at part throttle/Cruise , With O2's off surging goes away, with O2's on my LTFT's are +10-15% so the ECM is adding fuel because its running lean

    Car: 87 Buick Ttype

    LS2 (58x)
    4L65E
    E38-T42 (08 Truck OS)
    FIC # 80 Bosh injectors

    ECS Novi Supercharger system (14psi)
    220/235 .600 cam
    Pump/Meth

***Question is why didn't my Tuner use the E38's 2bar SD code modification which provides a KPA vs RPM Table for tuning instead of using The VVE table??

Possible he didn't know about it or just didn't want to make the effort to do it.

If the car is going to be speed density only I would totally use the 2 bar OS. It also gives you boost enrichment tables for PE as well.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

The VVE when updated for boost works fine as well.. just have to know how to mod it!

But I would also use the 2 bar OS Bc you get boost enrichment snd fan speed settings as well

I used the E38's 2bar OS just as a Test to see what the KPA vs RPM table would look like , i just compared the Fan parameters between the 2bar OS and current VVE Tune , The look exactly the same

What fan temps are you seeing in the tune?

Not seeing actual Fan Temps in my Tune that i can just change , example 205 degs to a lower 190

But my Fan-1 comes on at around 180-185 i believe Fan-2 will turn on around 190-195

I typically reduce the proportional fueling with a cam like that. Helps smooth out that torque surge due to closed loop AFR oscillation.
