    Hellcat tune issues

Got a 2019 Redeye on the dyno.

I followed thetuningschool Hellcat videos to get me going.

Keeps closing the throttle at 4500

I've raised most of the things I saw that looked like it might matter...must be missing something.

    Specs

    ID1300 inj
    2.85 upper
    ATI lower
    E85

    Are you running straight e85?

Car had 2-3 gallons of 93oct from pump which is supposed to be up to 10% ethanol...but who knows.

Then we added 15 gallons of VP E98...the math works out to 85%

    new log and tune

I logged Throttle Source and it goes from "Pedal" to "RPM Limit" when it slams the throttle blade shut.

i have to update my suite to view your tune, but hopefully on e85 you're commanding more than the 1-2 degrees of timing showing in the log. That is recipe for hydrolock with e85.

On my initial pulls KR was pulling up to 10 degrees with the stock timing...even after reducing the knock sensitivity.

So I pulled a bunch of timing and the sensors seem to be happier now.

I am just going off what I saw the car doing. I was trying to be conservative with the timing until I could make full pulls.

I'm looking to learn and make whatever changes are needed.

Check your injector PW, if it's near the limit, it'll close the throttle. If your inj data isn't dead on, it'll do that. You should be able to run stock timing on E85 to work the bugs out. You can crank it up after you get it dialed in.

You may want to purchase an "opened" tune from a shop and go from there. You can easily hurt the engine, testing with those mods. Stock would be a better platform to learn on.
