I performed a dod delete, I shut off the dod. When I start the car cold or hot the fans come on and don?t shut off. I look at the scanner koef - relays off, fan desire 0%, as soon as I start the engine the fan relays turn on and and the fan desire goes to 99.6%. I have been adjusting the fan settings with no luck, any help will be appreciated.
What does the ECT read when your data logging?
I had a 2009 3500HD do something similar when the wires for the ECT sensor had rubbed the insulation off on the edge of the cylinder head.
Well you either missed something during reassembly or have a tune file problem, with no more information than you've given and no tune+log posted it's kind of impossible to say.
Maybe it's haunted? I guess you could have a priest look at it, sprinkle some Holy Water?
The coolant temp PID will lie to you under certain fault conditions. It's stupid and frustrating when it happens and I have never found an explanation for why they designed it to do that, but it does.
