MPVI2 Resync Faulted after setup on a new computer

Hi All.

My computer crashed this week and I had to get a new hard drive.
So I?ve downloaded the latest stable version of the software 4.8.7 and MPVI2 drivers and now get a ?faulted? error message when I try and ?resync? the interface.

I only use my MPVI2 on this computer. I have 3 credits and my device and it is setup on the hptuners website. I have been using it for 6 months with no issues.

has anyone swaped/changed computers and had a resync issue?

Does anyone know if the MPVI2 is mated/matched to your PCs operating details during the resync

I do not understand a friend had the problem solved after 2h and another friends to send back are interface for repair
