I recently bought a vehicle that has been tuned with Hp tuners and the original owner emailed me the two tunes I will need. My question is do I just need to purchase a mpvi2 and a couple of credits to change the tunes when needed?

You can add credits later very easily if you find you don't get enough. You probably need two credits to start out. I ended up using 4 credits because I licensed a strategy I didn't have with a different VIN tied to it on top of the one that was loaded.

You'll have buy the credits unless your using the same mpvi the vehicle was licensed with.
