Desired Fuel Pressure
Does this Desired Fuel Pressure table do anything on non-hellcat models?

If using the stock fuel pump, it's best to leave it alone as there is no reason to change it. These vehicles have a returnless fuel system with a 58 psi fuel pressure regulator in the fuel filter module in the tank. The regulator only bypasses pressure when the engine is at high load to ensure constant fuel delivery. Otherwise the PCM commands a lower estimated fuel pressure to avoid wasting energy and heating the fuel pumping through the regulator. If you were using a larger fuel pump with a stand alone relay off the battery, for example a Walbro 450 running 100% duty cycle and constantly bypassing the regulator, you would set all values to 58 psi so the PCM knows to expect that at the fuel rail.

Thank you for that detail. So per your comments it sounds like the short answer is yes, it does reduce actual fuel pressure at the lower end of the table.
