    First log: 2008 Avalanche 4wd L76 6.0, BTR Stg2 V2 Truck cam, 4.10, 4L70E

    Hello all from the Midwest!

This is my first venture into tuning. I received some great help from a vendor on performancetrucks.com and he is working with me as we speak. Hoping to gain some knowledge, as I'm very mechanically inclined and electrically dangerous!

Please inform with your findings from a base/bench tune of the E38 from my vendor and what I should be looking for. I am reading all the information I can as time allows and have been exposed to HPT before as I have a close friend that used the software to tune a couple previous vehicles I have owned. This vehicle has the DOD/VVT/AFM deleted and with the addition of the BTR Truck cam has brought a little smile to my wife's face.

Looking forward to more knowledge and smiles.

It looks pretty good with the limited info that we have in that log. Do you have a wideband O2 sensor on it?

Looks good, I would suggest to try not exceeding 22 degrees of timing considering the weight of the truck + try running 12.3 ~ 12.4 AFR at WOT on 4th gear.

I just put the same cam in my truck. I also swapped the heads for 706 heads and added long tube headers. I Plan to start it over the weekend.
    2006 1500hd LQ4, 706 heads, 1 7/8 long-tube headers, BTR stage 2 v2 cam (212/218 @.50, 553/553, 111 lsa)
