Anybody have experience with cruise control that quit working in the ECM? Is it a software or hardware failure? Ford says my 2009 F250's ECM isn't sending cruise signals anymore.? I want to know if this just needs a reflash or NEW ECM? Ford says new ECM..

Software doesn't really just fail. Unless there was something in the programing that specified it would quit after a time period or event. Do you have any CELs or codes popping up?Originally Posted by midevil1
no codes or CELS. All outside components replaced with new FORD parts. Completed Ford diagnostics at ECM plugs. Signal going in but ECM not sending anything out.
