Doesn't idle in gear, cant MAF or VE tune

Hello, I'm really trying to get this truck to idle good enough to drive it for the VE and MAF tune. But this junk won't stay running in gear unless I really mess with the gas. If I could get some suggestions that would be AWESOME!

You didn't put the MAF dtc's to MIL on first error. That should help it revert to speed density straight away.

The VE table is really really fat, you don't need that much fuel in there for the size injectors you have.

Not sure what the negative timing spikes are about, are you running the AC?

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion

What would you suggest I drop the VE down by for starters? I know it's pig rich because my EGR o2 is at 1-2v, the sweet spot is 2.9-3v.

No A/C.. shifting into gear and messing with throttle to keep it running.

    06 Sierra - VE Tune_Base.hpt

as mentioned it was overly fueled.

attached should get you in the right direction as base changes

Thanks for helping me out with this. I'm guessing that the changes made in stall saver will help me retain idle while in gear, correct?. I'll try it out once our kids get done with their school work for the day.

I gave that tune a try and that VE table is lean on my EGR, is an AEM wideband and my goal is 3v for slightly rich. I added 10% back to it and it seemed to help with getting it back down to 3v. It seems to idle better in and out of gear with that change too. The dip in graphs is me shifting into gear while holding the break. No more feathering the throttle... AWESOME!!
