    Gen 4 4.8L E38 w th400 tune file needed

    Very green tuner here and need some help with s base tune file for a 2011 4.8L E38 with a th400 behind it. From what I've found online I need a 4k speed signal to get the thing out of "neutral". I should be able to get that part figured out. All I need is a base tune file that has all the torque limits and dtcs removed. I've only had my mpvi2 for a couple months and barely have an understanding of gen 3 so it's a little overwhelming to jump into this project. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    You need a 2010-up manual trans ECM calibration. Can't 'convert' an auto trans ECM to manual or non-electric auto.

    It would help pin down exactly which VIN to supply to GM SPS for programming if you could list the Service Number of your current E38. And it will have to be done with SPS, HPT can't change Gen4 OSes like that.
