18 camaro 8 speed

Quick question guys can I do just the ecm tune on a 18 camaro only?
Or do I need to unlock tcm as well?
Just wanting to work the engine side for now.

For a mild build (if you're okay with sacrificing a little bit of 1/4 time), you can skip the tcm. You can make it shift better with some engine side tricks as well. For anyone but grudge race customers I usually just tell them to skip the tcm unless they really want it if they are stock or mild bolton cars.
