ZF8 Max input shaft torque.

I have a 2017 1500 with a whipple, dynoed right at 501whp. I was just browsing over the transmission tuning and noticed there?s a spot for Max input shaft torque. I compared it to a stock file and it?s the same at 527ft/lb. Does that actually mean it?s being limited to 527ft/lbs or is it more complicated than that? I thought about upping it but wanted to do a little research first.

You can raise that. Just be aware that on some vehicles if you go too high on that number it will go into limp mode and throw a "implausible input torque" code. If that happens just bump that number down a little. My 2008 charger was fine at 575 but went into limp mode around the 600 area. I've tuned others that would allow me to set that at 650 with no issues
