    OBDII device with IOS

Hi, I bought the XGPS160 and veepeak OBDCheck BLE. The gps works fine, but veepeak won?t connect to iPhone X. I see it as an option to pair (I followed instructions and did NOT pair it), but Track Addict never picked it up. Car engine was on and running.

I tried restarting the phone and app, as well as turning car on/off, but nothing worked. I also played with the OBDII settings - disabling auto protocol and/or advanced features, but nothing worked.

I sent it back and the kiwi 3 should arrive tomorrow night. My track day is Sunday so I don?t have much time.. any tips? Car is a 2020 Supra. Phone is iPhone X, it does not have cellular data, but I can hotspot my other phone if it needs a connection (I tried this also).

    Thanks

This is the one I use with iOS and it works fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073XKQQQW

You should not have to pair it, but ensure you have the TractAddict option selected to "BLE".
