    z57 LDK Tips?

    Good afternoon all -

    I just ordered a z57 from ZZP.

Will be starting the process of tuning it soon.

Aside from adjusting the wastegate duty cycle - does anyone have any tips for tuning a Cobalt SS with the z57?

I have FBO with Opels and a fuel cam lobe running e47 to e85.

    Any tips are appreciated.

    Thank you!

Dialed in my tune and car is a blast to drive. Feels like stock up until to do a pull - a little bit of lag then pulling away from the competition.

Awesome that is good to hear! Any install issues? What were the main parameters you played with?

The coolant line was a hassle to deal with not sure why I kept leaking coolant and oil.. I had to keep tightening them until they finally stopped leaking. I kept thinking I was going to break them. I've had turbo on for about a month now and I'm puffing out blue smoke and going through oil pretty bad. So I'm in the process of removing the turbo to check it out and see if i broke a valve when i did a timing job or if for whatever reason the turbo is going out.. good thing ZZP has that 2 year warranty.

I messed with the wastegate duty cycle! i didn't go above 65% and scaled it to my liking.

But now going through this smoking issue is not fun lol the joys of cars lol

Damn I am not 100% but I know they pulled the Z57 recently to fix oil issues. People had the issues you brought up which hopefully isn't your case as it is newer but maybe best to contact them.
