2006 Ram 1500 tune for cam

I just deleted the MDS in my 2006 Ram 1500 4x4 5.7, I just put the Stage 1 HRT 216/222 cam from Comp Cams someone tell me the basics to tune for the cam right now the truck will not idle but it will run feathering the pedal

Dial in VE tables, bring idle RPM up, raise idle/startup airflow tables, adjust small and large range throttle body parameters, and I always raise the idle spark tables a little

Trial and error. VE tables you'll need to log error, id start with 100 rpm for idle stuff. Try bringing all your spark tables up to 5 if they are below that. See if that gets you idling and go from there

white1 helped my issue earlier this month with my stage 2 cam, what made the most difference was raising idle tables anything under 800 i set to 800 also i increased total airflow in Airflow > general > max airflow = 99g/s. For my VE tables i honestly just guessed, rather be rich than lean, started by adding 10%. I had an issue with hot starts, turns out the camposition code was the culprit, i simply added 6* and it went away. so far.

The best change you can do to make it idle and not die coming to a stop is take the Torque model/loss/Friction table Start on the left column and put 6.0 and on the far right column and put 1.60 than interpolate and then on airflow/electronic throttle/throttle body model .40-.010 increase this number by 10 percent and see what that does for you

TorqueModel/loss/friction for the 06 is MAP x RPM , not Torque X RPM

Try this , I left your spark tables alone, this has been a good starting point for Com Cams #268H

    2006 Ram 269 cam 1A.hpt

Here's the tune I use as a base for Comp 268H cam.
