Credits used on broken ECU?

I paid for credits to tune an ECM in my swap, and now found out that the ECM has issues and I need to replace it. Is there any way to return it to stock, or destroy it (it is useless anyway) so I can use those credits on another functional ECU?

So far I bought credits only to find out that the ECU they were used on is bad (it did burn a tune, but won't supply the ground to energize the relay to click the fan on, and we think it may not have been reading the MAP incorrectly, then it mysteriously started working)

I need this information also i have a bad pcm. i also would like to know if you can upgrade a single vehicle license to a unlimited license by buying the 4 credit difference.
