    Writing OS Credits

I purchased MPVI2 Pro and want to try and write a 2014 Grand Cherokee OS to my 2012 Jeep jk. I want to install the 8 speed auto. My question is if I use the credits to write the os and it doesn't work will I have to use more credits to do a different one?

They both use the GPEC2 pcm.

Or should I get a Grand Cheokee pcm and write my Vin on it?

    Any help is much appriciated.
    Thank you
    Bill

Found my answer reading the stickies. Seems it is unwise to download a tune from the repository and use it.

I will get a pcm, transmission and shifter from a Grand Cherokee and write my Vin to it.

I'll have to hunt down the wiring to see the differences between my 2012 JKU and the 2014ish Grand Cherokee.
