I got mine for $160, I think from Scoggin-Dickey or Pace Chevrolet. Also sometimes you can find them on eBay ... you can do a search on some GM forums for "Helms" and people will post where they got new ones at a great price. Just trying to help.

I realize this thread is a bit old but still, when you need OEM manuals go to http://www.faxonautolit.com/
These people have actual GM manuals dirt cheap.
I've used them 3 times because the prices are reasonable.

Give them a call, they have options sometimes when your talking on the phone that you might not see when surfing their site.

    www.helminc.com

There was a guy selling DVD service manuals on
LS1Tech for only $20 (not sure whether this is a
single item, or he's got something going on) and
the DVDs cover like '98-'05 or something. Probably
find a zillion on eBay, semi-legal (or not).

AllDataDIY has the manuals online but you pay a
pretty high annual subscription and they screw you
up front (and should you ever let the subscription
    laps, screw you again).

Personally I like paper but the DVD deal is a whole
lot cheaper if you turn up a good copy.
