    torque ratio config final word

Looking for the final word on this:

[ECM] 44775 - Fuel Cut Torque Ratio 1=100% or 0=100%

[ECM] 33458 - Spark Only Torque Ratio 1=100% or 0=100%

I've searched around and have not found a definitive answer.
I have found many references about the descriptors(one or the other) not being correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hover over the parameter and there is a full explanation of how it works. In summary 0= 0% Torque reduction, 1=up to 100% Torque Reduction

Yes, that's true. However fuel reports to use 0 to disable and spark reports to use 1 to disable.

Some threads indicate one of these is not correct.

My interpretation is that it's different for each:

Fuel Cut = 1.0 = 100% Torque can be reduced
    Spark = 0.0 = 100% Torque can be reduced

Somewhere along the way someone went by one setting for both, put it in a book perhaps, and so the confusion ensued.
Knock Retard is the reduction or prevention of knock by lowering ignition timing:

(+) Adding Knock Retard = Reducing Timing. PCM is seeing knock.
(--) Lowering Knock Retard = Increasing Timing. PCM isn't seeing knock.

Take a trust but verify approach here, but this is what I found...

First of all, you can't disable fuel cut, period, unless you disable torque limiting totally, which Steven mention in a linked thread above.

The fuel cut table should actually read Fuel Enleanment.

Both Spark and Fuel Enleanment will use those methods anytime the torque reduction ratio requested is higher than what is in that table.

Spark Cut > Fuel Enleanment > Fuel Cut-(this cannot be disabled)

Again, this can be verified easily by changing DFSO settings and seeing what happens.
