04 4x4 6.0l silverado turbo has hesitation just before and going into boost
So truck seems to run well other than when going into boost or just under boost under load partial throttle. seems to clear up at wot or higher rpm. thinking i have "onthewayout" coils. truck has original coils at 250000k miles. plugs were bad with more then 80 thou gap. so im assuming the coil has internal arcing and voltage drops under load. For example's if you look at the scan closely you will see in area 8:12:54- 8:12:58 or 8:17:35- 8:17:38 just before and during boost tps is partial but steady, rpms are increasing but then seems to roll backwards, then catch up. Tried raising and lower afr and timing, problem remains. motor is old and worn. let me know what you think. I ordered new coils. I would try and test them but after realizing you cant really test for impedance on these coils not sure what else to check. Any ideas?
