Looking for a 2017 Silverado 5.3 flex fuel tune.
Looking for a 2017 Silverado 5.3 flex fuel tune.
It doesn't exist, not in factory form anyway as far as I know. They didn't have alcohol sensors from the factory in the US after 2014ish.

2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
I got one. Had a 17 come into our shop thst had flex fuel from the factory. Just got the tune from it while I was servicing it.
Is it virtual flex fuel or sensor installed?

Sensor installed from factory.
I seem to remember a thread on this a long time ago now, I know that that RPO code isn't very popular on trucks after 2015. Mainly all 5.3 only, nothing 6.2 at all.
I have several tunes from 2015 and 2016 that didn't have it from the factory but I added the sensor to a few trucks.

Would you be able to send me the flex fuel tune?
The sensor needs to be enabled in two places, and any flex/alcohol tables (spark,eq,etc) need to be calibrated. Ctrl+N Navigator will help find them.

Thanks for the Reply, I just installed flex fuel sensor and I am getting familiar with the HP software, been looking for a Flex fuel tune to compare my stock tune to ensure I have all the settings turned on and tables set appropriately for flex fuel. its been a good few weeks looking for flex fuel tunes and tables.
do you have a copy of your stock or current tune with the flex stuff enabled you can share?
as of right now I have not enabled any flex-fuel setting in the tune. been trying to find a 2014/2015 Silverado with a 5.3 flex fuel stock Hpt tune file but so far haven't found anything.
Here's a 2014 OEM Flex File
Hopefully this will help out.
