    Scanner Configuration & Histogram Repository

Aight guys as many of you have already noticed LS1's are the default when it comes to the config files & histograms for the most part. Here you can post what configs have helped you along. Include in your post with this format:

    Year
    Make
    Model
    OS
    Vin
What the config is for? Idle tuning, SD tuning, MAF tuning, General

If your post is missing anyone of those it will likely be deleted since I need that info to verify its a working configuration.

If you have custom histograms you'd like to post as well feel free. Same info is needed.

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 Directory

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2\Histograms Directory

    Here's an example
    2001
    Chevy
    Camaro
    12202088
    2G1FP22G412102986
    MAF Tuning/VE Tuning

    http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...0&postcount=58

Thanks to NightriderCobaltSS from CSS.net for his help developing these two configs which will hopefully be included in one of the upcoming installer packages if all goes well

They should work well for all 04-06 Cobalt SS's

This can be used on most 4cyl e67 pcm'd equipped vehicles.

This config was done by BennyHHR & im just posting it for him.

To avoid any confusion these are NOT tunes, these are scanner config & histograms to be used in our scanner.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

nice, thanks doc, I did edit it a bit to give you the same info but use less bytes

remember when adding status bits the groups usually only use 1 byte of space whereas if you enter them separately they use 1 each.

Can I get a config for the Ion RL/SS SC for MAF tuning...I'm fighting this stupid histogram stuff - every time I THINK I have it setup right and test it, something else shits the bed on me.

Here's where I'm at right now, although I'll be honest...I've made so many tweaks/changes to it this weekend, I've kinda lost track with what I've done exactly.

I'm posting this one with baldturbofreaks permission, some of it may be over the head of the avg user but is a very good config IMHO.

I'm also working on a few varients of it but it may take a while.

This should work on all the 2.0t pcm's ie solstice gxp, sky redline, cobalt ss/tc, & hhr ss/tc

A LNF configuration file and a bunch of histograms. The configuration file is based off of Baldturbofreak.com's, but more logically grouped and modified to function with the custom PIDs and histograms attached.

These histograms and the following require the following custom PID:

    Code:
    Lambda to AFR custom PID

    Name: Lambda to AFR
    Abbrv: WB AFR
    Sensor: none selected
    Units: :1
    Function: [PID.6160] * 14.68
These histograms and the following require the following custom PID:

    Code:
    Lambda Error custom PID

    Name: Lambda Error
    Abbrv: Lda Err
    Sensor: none selected
    Units: %
    Function: 100 * ([PID.6160] - [PID.6005]) / [PID.6005]
More histograms in the next post......

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

For version 2.22 and later, file locations are as follows:

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\My Documents\HP Tuners\VCM Scanner\Configs

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\My Documents\HP Tuners\VCM Scanner\Histograms

**Edit:Injector duty cycle histogram does not represent true loads, this is just for reference. I'm trying to figure out how to measure this correctly on the LNF.

More LNF histograms, a config file for monitoring boost and a custom PID.

The following custom PID is required for the attached histograms with 'Cst PID' in the title. The other histograms use the factory boost sensor PID.

This PID uses MAP sensor pressure as the engine pressure reference and subtracts atmospheric pressure.
    Code:
Convert MAP to Boost Pressure -
    Formula: (MAP Sensor - BARO) / 6.894757

    Name: Boost
    Abbrv: Bst
    Sensor: none selected
    Units: psi
    Function: ([SENS.30.MET] - [PID.2340.MET]) / 6.894757
