    eliminating knock?

ok, so I have an 08 sky redline and im using the "LNF Generic 2.0L-aa10.cfg that i found on here to do my logging... on histogram 3 (Knock retard - Air Load vs RPM, knock retard) i have lots of little red cells ranging from 1-6.7 all over the place. I was reading somewhere else that i could just copy this table and do a paste special - subtract right into my spark advance table in my tune.... well i have 4 tables and am not really sure what the difference is between them. can i just do that into all 4 of them? sorry im new to all this.

    Thanks

Rather than pulling timing you should spend more time adjusting your fuel trims this has eliminated a lot of knock on my end.

Some of the stuff you want to use is not available in the scanner yet. So you can do like I did and make then from scratch. What year 2.2? When I get home I will post my 2.2 scanner to help you get started. If anything says not supported it means just that your scanner is not setup for that car it needs to be reworked.

It is an 07. I tried making my own and still got unsupported, knock retard being one that comes to mind.

Here give this one a try. You need to add maf high and maf low to the table so you can log them to set the maf right.

    Year
    Make
    Model
    OS
    Vin
What the config is for? Idle tuning, SD tuning, MAF tuning, General

If your post is missing anyone of those it will likely be deleted since I need that info to verify its a working configuration.

If you have custom histograms you'd like to post as well feel free. Same info is needed.

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 Directory

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2\Histograms Directory

    Here's an example
    2001
    Chevy
    Camaro
    12202088
    2G1FP22G412102986
    MAF Tuning/VE Tuning

Thanks to NightriderCobaltSS from CSS.net for his help developing these two configs which will hopefully be included in one of the upcoming installer packages if all goes well

They should work well for all 04-06 Cobalt SS's

This can be used on most 4cyl e67 pcm'd equipped vehicles.

This config was done by BennyHHR & im just posting it for him.

To avoid any confusion these are NOT tunes, these are scanner config & histograms to be used in our scanner.
