windows 8.1

I recently bought an Azus t100 with windows 8.1. Can anyone tell me what is the latest version of the VCM Suite will run on 8.1.
I tried to run the latest version and I got a message that i needed to update the net.framework. When i tried to do that it said it wasn't compatable.
I'm currently running 3.6.26. I know some people have upgraded to windows 10 , but I would prefer not to.

Try running the .net install first as a standalone install from Microsoft (don't use the HPT software). Then install the HPT software.
I had something like that happen to me but I think if you do it manually it will work.
