    2004 jeep wrangler tuning

    good afternoon,

forgive me as my first post ill be a long one.

    Vehichle: Jeep wrangler X
    I6 4.0
    NV3550 manual 5 speed
    31x10.5 tires stock 3.07 gearing

    Modifications:
    .020 shaved head
    aftermarket 0331 cylinder head
    2.02 1.60 Valves from LS
port and polished along with evening out the combustion chambers

comp cams 26918 beehive valve spring stock ls retainers
scorpion roller rockers 1.7 ex 1.6 int
    lunati 258/265 cam 507 514 lift adv 6 degrees

i can get valve event timings if needed

    stock bottom end

i am trying to make the engine run a little better and my main issues are cruising down the highway.

70 mph 2000 rpm i am at 90-105 kpa which seems exessive.

i will post my base tune that i am currentlly running and can post some data logs as well.

my main issue is that i seem to not have as many optons in the engine options as 2005-2006 models have as well as some of the other people tuning these 4.0's
the only VE map i have found is under EGR off and EGR on.

currently i do not have a wideband and i have only adjusted some timing, speed limiter, and idle.

there is no VE table, you would use egr off to make changes to fuel, go to edit and choose advance to see the rest of the options . now for the vcm reading high kpa ,you probably need to reconfigure the channels

thanks for the help, i guess i was hoping for a VEtable instead of the egr off map. do you have any clue on what calculations form the numbers in the cells in the egr off table. i have not found that information on the forums yet.

Hover over it and read the description at the bottom. The units are also a clue.

    But it's pulse width.
