Read file says file is stock after vcm write

Hey I?ve got the MPVI2+ and working on an ME97AMG I?ve changed small parameters with the throttle response after learning which variant is used and wrote over the vcm. I wanted to check that the parameters were changed but after reading the VCM POST Flash the ECM was virtually unchanged.. Anyone know what I?m missing here?

Please post your .hpt file for review.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

this application is a virtual read ie when you click read vehicle the software generates a stock file for you based off of your vin/os pair, so anytime you read your vehicles ecm it will ALWAYS appear stock. The file, however, is being flashed to the ecm when you click flash.

I see thanks. Is there a real-time read e.g. viewing the ecm changes from someone else’s tune off of the mpvi2+?

Unfortunately not, these ecm's cannot be read via the obd2 port.
