    Question 4.6 cammed choppy idle

    hi guys,
4.6 2v bolt ons and cammed crown vic
    mid cam : XE268H
Intake Duration at .050 Inch Lift:230
Exhaust Duration at .050 Inch Lift:236
    Intake Valve Lift:0.5
    Exhaust Valve Lift:0.5
    Lobe Separation:114

i want to achieve chopyy idle by idle spark
if i lean out the idle, the car will chop because timing will jump about 10 degrees because rpm error or something like that with nice choppy idle
at stoich 14.7:1 timing settle around 15-20 degrees with noticeable idle

gm and dodge ecu's have rpm error you can use spark to control idle
with this ecu i cant figure it out
    thanks for help

you can put in open loop and adjust your idle how you would like

there are timing tables for just idle

I've tried before with idle tables without no success
if lean it out to 19:1 at idle start to chop and timing jumps from 15-25 around that but i dont like exhaust smell
if you have any suggestion i will be thankful

If you want more idle spark you reduce the torque reserve.

If you want spark to jump around more per background loop then you kick up the gain.

    thank you decipha

Engine > Torque Model > there are 2 tables Engine torque and Inverse
if i increase value at idle cell from Inverse Table will make idle spark jump

if can you make adjustment to the tune and i will start from there i will be thankful
