Could be the 10 year old software, however I doubt you'll be able to scan alot even on the newest since the C8 is not a supported vehicle.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

i watched a video where they reviewed VCM log taken from twin turbo C8.. and they had a good collection of data... must be my hardware..
