No you do not need to license the ecm for it to work, we've discovered an issue that appears to only be affecting the C304 CCM and are working on a fix.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Is there an update or anything for this fix? My 2017 ZL1 with manual 6 speed with read the ECM but it constantly fails to read the C304A CCM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Originally Posted by Bill@HPTuners
