    C7Z NPP Not Working

    Hey guys,

I know this isn't really tuning related, but I am getting frustrated here.

Car is a 2017 C7 Z06. Recently out of nowhere, the NPP valves no longer close. This is regardless of what mode the car is in. I tested the wiring to the actuators, and everything checked out good. Good voltage, ground, and good continuity in the signal wire from the chassis control module to the actuators. I replaced the actuators, thinking this was the problem.

Nothing changed, so I replaced the mufflers with some take offs from a friend, but still nothing changed.

I can watch the scanner call for the valves to open and close, depending on what mode the car is in, but the valves themselves do nothing.

Has anyone else ever come across this? Could the chassis control module have gone bad? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Check the fuses? Are they set to stay open in the tune? Are they set to stay open in the Driver Management settings in the dash controls? (not the driver mode selector knob)

I have an issue not the same but it opens and closes randomly even when driving at lower RPMs like 1500 to 2000. At times i wonder if some ground wire is loose.

I can watch the command in the scanner for them to open and close. I've checked voltage, ground, and signal, and everything looks good.

And you definitely checked the fuse by pulling it out and looking at it?

Yeah, and i checked for voltage and ground at the motors themselves. I have since learned that there is apparently a factory relearn procedure that you can do with a scan tool. Gonna try that this week.

Just an update if anyone else runs into this.

Apparently there is a factory relearn procedure that needs to be done for the new valves to work. I was able to do it with a SnapOn Solus scan tool.
