Ats-v lf4 tuning and stock tune file

Anyone have a stock tune file and some tuning tips perhaps? I'm going to tune my first one next week and wanted to look over the file and see where I can find some power gains.

I'm just hoping that one is a V. It doesn't specify and I'm pretty sure there is two turbo 3.6 set ups.

It is very similar to the GEN V V8 stuff.

Do you have access to a dyno?

Yes, I was planning on doing this on a dyno. I'm guessing increasing the boost limits will add most of the power I need. Or is their a specific way to turn up the boost?

Yes the dyno is the best place if you want to be efficient with your time.

Obviously like the Gen V V8's make sure you are logging all torque pids because these love to close the throttle to keep torque in line.

Boost limit tables, torque tables and if there are any physical changes to the air flow then make sure the MAF's are dialed in.

Also, don't just max the tables out, make your changes realistic to what you are trying to do.

I didn't do to much and it made good power after a few adjustments to the VTT. Once the throttle opened it was game on. What air fuel ratio are people running on these? The factor has it set at 12.85? That's leaner then GM has its N/A cars set at.

GM was pretty confident in their intercooling and this engine when they did this calibration.

What did your MAT's come out to be? How much did the boost get increased?

Shoot for 12.5 and see what a couple points richer or leaner will allow you to do.

If you still need stock ATS-V calibrations, feel free to email me at [email protected]. I have all years, for both transmission options, for North America and worldwide, before and after GM calibration updates.

OEM target power enrichment is 12.84:1 on these cars. We like to set them anywhere between 12.00 and 13.00:1 for best results. But each car is a little different, depending on fuel type, boost levels and wideband location.

We ended up hitting 16psi and running around 12.5. Car ran great and made some good power.
