Hey there,
Ive got a 2010 Camaro SS with the L99 and 6l80e. Ive been battling this weird 2nd gear hangup at 5500rpm for awhile and I cant seem to figure out what it is. Every other gear is fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

add tcc pressure and trans input shaft, and trans slip rpm to your logs maybe something will stick out
Here is a log with the PIDS you asked for. It didnt do it quite as bad this log which is weird. Sometimes it barely hangs and sometimes it holds like in the first log.
If you look closely you have a bit of trans slip while it's happening in that log. Be curious if it's the same on longer events like this.
At first glance it looks like the trans may be slipping and allowing rpm to climb to 53-55 as opposed to something happening at 55.

There's a lot of channels (PIDs) you need to add. It's not logging current gear, so any input would just be a guess. Some to definitely add will be...
Burst Knock Retard
Total Knock Retard
Accelerator Position
Relative Throttle Position
Commanded Throttle Position
TCS Desired Engine Torque
Engine Torque
Torque Mgt Advance
Throttle Control Source
Trans Engine Torque
Trans Torque Management Type
Trans Speed Control Torque
PRNDL Status
Trans Shift Mode
Oncoming Clutch
Trans Current Gear
Time of Latest Shift
Time of Latest 1-2 Shift
Time of Latest 2-3 Shift
Time of Latest 3-4 Shift
Time of Latest 4-5 Shift
Fill Pressure Cmd
PCS 1 Cmd Pressure
PCS 2 Cmd Pressure
PCS 3 Cmd Pressure
PCS 4 Cmd Pressure
PCS 5 Cmd Pressure
Add those, and drive/log again. That should start to get us somewhere
Heres a log with all the needed PIDS added. Thanks for the help again from all of you!
After you've done what sevinn said and flushing the fluid if it looks bad, grab the airmass A table and raise it 30% for a band aid test.
so going over this file theres quite a bit that i can see is wrong with it. First thing, where it is set as a minimum of -20 degrees in the spark minimum table for the torque managment, setting that to a positive 5 degrees is only causing more harm than it is good. If it needs to remove to -20 then allow it, thats the trans telling you something isnt set correctly and the shift isnt executing properly. Second, after going over the trans portion, theres so much copy/paste, as well as extreme pressure adjustments that simply are causing much more harm than good. You would literally be way way better off if you start back from a stock file and make ONLY THE ADJUSTMENTS YOU UNDERSTAND AND THE VEHICLE NEEDS. That seems to be where most make mistakes on these transmissions, altering tables that they arent certain of the actual function/ consequence. in the last log if you use the layout ill include, you can see where its droping the 2/6 clutch too late and the 3/5/R was already applied causing that odd feeling, that is actually both clutch packs being drug/applied at the same time instead of dropping and applying at the proper ratio. Hope this helps.6l8090.Layout.xml
